During Intersolar Europe 2025, held in Munich, , Tongwei officially presented its new generation of TNC 2.0 photovoltaic modules, highlighting advances in efficiency and sustainability.

The new product – which features four main technologies: 0BB (908); TPE edge ivation; Poly Tech and steel screen printing – was launched with prominence on the first day of the global conference.

“The TNC 2.0 module uses the best ivation material to process the laser-cut sides of the battery, repairing the defects on the edges of the cut side of the battery, significantly improving the performance of the battery,” the company explained to Canal Solar.

According to the company, by using specially designed steel plates to replace traditional wire mesh, a 100% opening rate is achieved and the shading area is reduced by 3,3%.

“With the of TNC 2.0 technology, the TWMNH-66HD (G12R-66 version) reduces CAPEX costs by 1,20% and LCOE by 1,28% compared to conventional components. The TWMNF-66HD module (G12-66 version) reduces CAPEX costs by 1,26% and LCOE by 1,31% compared to conventional modules,” the company highlighted.

The new line of PV modules has also received important certifications from TÜV Rheinland – recognizing the complete life cycle and high quality of the products presented. Tongwei has also been recognized by KIWA-PVEL as a “Top Performer”.
