Dear readers,
In this edition, the Magazine Canal Solar, with our bimonthly publication, has completed two years alongside our readers, bringing news, articles and interviews that enrich the knowledge of professionals in the photovoltaic solar energy sector, in addition to addressing topics such as electrical energy storage, electric vehicles, renewable sources, hydrogen and many other interesting subjects that are always permeating our pages. We are already approaching the end of 2022, and January 6, 2023.
The deadline for maintaining the rules for distributed generation in force prior to federal law 14.300 will soon expire. In this scenario, there are still doubts about the figure of voluntary condominiums, an innovation introduced in the DG Law – a subject addressed in this edition by lawyers Pedro Dante, Leonardo Balbino and Joálisson Gusmão.
There are already more than 100 electric and hybrid vehicles in circulation in Brazil, information brought by journalists Rubens Morelli and Stella Miranda in an article that addresses the issue of installing electric vehicle charging points in condominiums. In this edition, we also brought an article about the main large-scale photovoltaic plants currently in operation and connected to the SIN (National Interconnected System) in the centralized generation (GC) mode.
Based on official data from the ONS (National System Operator), we have brought important figures such as the volume of energy produced and the capacity factor of these complexes. We have also shown the contribution of these projects to the socioeconomic development of the regions where the plants are located.
were installed.
