Dear readers,
In this edition, the Magazine Canal Solar is celebrating its 2nd anniversary. Since our first edition, published in December 2020, we have been committed to our purpose of presenting relevant and current content to our readers, in a modern format that is easy to read on mobile devices. In this edition, we present a retrospective of the events that marked the solar energy sector in 2022. In January, federal law No. 14.300 came into force, which became known as the Legal Framework for distributed generation (GD), with significant changes, especially in the electricity compensation system.
Also this year, Inmetro Ordinance No. 140 was published, which brought greater clarity to the testing and certification requirements for hybrid inverters and storage systems – a segment that is likely to grow significantly in the coming years. In addition, in 2022 we complete 10 years of resolution 482/2012 of ANEEL, we once again had an Intersolar South America with a record attendance, and we had the first Congress of the Canal Solar – the Canal Conecta – held in November in Campinas-SP.
In this edition we present a selection of the three most read articles on the site. Canal Solar, in addition to three unpublished technical articles, addressing the issues of the power factor of photovoltaic systems and the measurement of albedo in solar plants. Highlighting another segment that is emerging in Brazil and the world, that of electric vehicles, in this edition journalist Rubens Morelli, from Canal VE, presents information on the high tax burden on electric cars in the national market.
It was a very intense year, with many positive and negative events for the solar energy market, but above all, they made us stronger and ready for everything that lies ahead. We thank you for always following us and we wish you a good end of the year and an excellent 2023.
Good reading!
